Finding a Way Through

Finding a Way Through shows an abstracted landscape made with rich layers of color and texture. the lighter tones at the top suggest a hazy sky. Below, warm movement of colors hint at land or a horizon. Towards the bottom are deep blues and purples that feel like water or reflections.
I used credit cards and my fingers to create the textures, giving the work a tactile and spontaneous feel. Discovering a transparent Indigo color as I started on this piece added new depth to my current palette of colors. The painting expresses a quiet movement forward and a sense of balance amid change.

Each painting I create is presented in one of my handmade maple frames, wired and ready for installation. All materials I choose are archival, ensuring long-term preservation and quality.
