Blue Skies Ahead

Blue Skies Ahead is another small, bright painting that feels hopeful and open. Using oil and cold wax, I layered shades of cobalt and aquamarine blue creating a cool, flowing background. Splashes of white, orange, and yellow add their warmth and energy. Working in layers allows the colors to move and mix in a way that feels more lively and natural. The textured surface shows thick paint in some areas and soft, see-through layers in others. This mix of bold and gentle parts reflects a moment full of possibility, where calm meets excitement. These bright colors match the freedom I find in abstract art, letting feelings come through without words.
